Crane Creek Country Club, nestled in the Boise Foothills, is an 18-hole championship course located just minutes north from Downtown Boise. As it is tucked in the foothills, the course has a neighborhood feel with expansive views, making for a very welcoming country club for Boise residents.
THE COURSE

David B. Druzisky in 2017, the course features gorgeous mature trees and beautiful undulating terrain. Golfers can enjoy tight fairways, lightening quick queens with rolling bent grass fairways. The course is also known for its excellent turf conditions and expertly manicured greens. Crane Creek strives to preserve and enhance Boise’s wildlife habitat, earning the title of a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, making it one of the 10% of clubs in the nation to have achieved this commitment.
Many members walk the course, but renting a golf cart is also an option for guests. Personal carts are allowed on the course as well, an unbeatable perk for those who live in the neighborhood.
THE CLUB
The club offers many luxury amenities. As part of your membership, you can enjoy a fitness center and group fitness program, Olympic sized saline-based outdoor pool, ten tennis courts (five are located inside for year-round play), incredible dining, a wine club, yoga on the green, and golf simulators for the winter season.
For those interested in playing tennis - Adult, Senior or Mixed Leagues, weekly clinics, social events, and competitions for 2.5 to 5.0 level players are all offered for CCCC members. The pros will also coordinate USTA Team Tennis Clinics year-round. The club is welcoming to all ages and skill levels for tennis and golf alike.

Hillcrest Country Club is another well-known country club in the Boise area. In 1960 the club was open for business, deeming Hillcrest as one of Boise's most prestigious and historic golf courses.
THE COURSE
Hillcrest is a par 71 year-round private 18-hole course. Portland native, George H. Otten, who was known for being the best landscape and golf course architect in the Pacific Northwest at the time, wanted to take the course a bit further, designing the club with two putting greens, short game facility and golf shop.
THE CLUB
In addition to the golf course, Hillcrest offers three dining rooms and two bars that feature an in-house sommelier and a seasonally rotated menu, featuring fresh local ingredients. After a round of golf, enjoy a resort-style heated swimming pool with poolside food and drink services. The Hillcrest pool is a perfect setting for those looking to wind down from a long day or to cool off during the Valley's hot summer days.
Hillcrest features a wellness center, including state-of-the-art equipment and personal training options for members looking to increase their strength and cardio training. The club also offers yoga, pilates, and boot camp classes. If you are interested, you can also participate in a group fitness class, a great way to socialize and meet other Hillcrest members. The River Club - Garden City

The River Club is a full-service private country club located along the Boise River that boarders Boise and Garden City. The club was founded in 1917 and features an 18-hole championship course, tennis courts, bocce ball courts, a swimming pool, fitness center and newly renovated club house.
THE COURSE
The River Club is a par-71 golf course and features some of the most challenging par-3’s in the Valley. The course has a traditional-style championship layout with lush fairways and wide cottonwood trees framing the fairways. The Boise River runs the length of the course, making for a challenge for avid and beginner golfers alike.
You can also find an array of different tournaments, clinics, and leagues at the River Club. If you are looking for a more light-hearted community of events, you can always find a scramble to play in with other members. The River Club offers junior golfers - clinics, junior PGA leagues, summer golf camps as well as private lessons.
THE CLUB
Outside of golf, The River Club, offers tennis courts for social tennis as well as competition play for adults and juniors. Members can also enjoy participating in aquatic activities with the clubs junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, while ordering poolside food and beverages.
Recently remodeled, the River Side Clubhouse has spectacular views of the golf course, featuring a formal dining room, casual grill and bar as well as pro shops for both golf and tennis.
Warm Springs Golf Course - Southeast Boise

Warm Springs Golf Course is also another local Boise 18-hole championship course, located at the base of the Boise foothills in Northeast Boise's Warm Springs neighborhood. Just minutes from Downtown Boise, Warm Springs is located on the banks of the Boise River making for a gorgeous golf setting. Operated by Boise Parks and Recreation, the course offers affordable recreation in one of the city's oldest neighborhoods.
THE COURSE
Featuring spacious fairways, well-tended greens, scenic views of the Foothills, & numerous ponds, this course is for all ages and all levels. The course is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the week.
The course also offers a variety of lessons from adult weekday group sessions to youth devoted lessons. There is also a Saturday Morning Swing Tune Up group lesson to freshen up your technique before hitting the course. For more one-on-one practice, you can request private group sessions to be organized with instructors.
Quail Hollow Golf Course - North Boise

Quail Hollow is one of Boise City’s Municipal golf courses located in the Boise Foothills in North Boise, just off of 36th Street. The course is a 70-par with a slope rating of 129. Designed by Bruce Devlin, the course features views of the Treasure Valley and is one of the more challenging courses in the area.
THE COURSE
Quail Hollow is 6,325 yards from the back tees and has a course rating of 70.7. The course was awarded 4 Stars by Golf Digest, offering a full-length driving range, a chipping and putting green, and a full-service pro shop. On site there are PGA professionals available to give lessons to anyone that is interested, and you can rent clubs at the course if you would like. With its setting in the Boise Foothills, you might also spot local wildlife such as deer, rabbits, and a variety of birds while playing a round.
After you finish up, make sure to visit the Foothills Grill, the course’s on-site restaurant with an award-winning chef and delicious fresh menu options for breakfast or lunch.
Shadow Valley Golf Course - Northwest Boise

Shadow Valley is known in the Valley as being one of the local’s favorites. Also located in the Boise Foothills, along Highway 55, the course has a gorgeous setting featuring rock formations, ponds and even a small waterfall, making for the perfect amount of challenge for avid golfers.
THE COURSE
Built 25 years ago, the front nine of Shadow Valley has over a dozen elevation changes, including the infamous Number 6 hole that has a challenging par-3 cut from the side of the foothills. Like Crane Creek Country Club, Shadow Valley has also been awarded the honor of being certified by the National Audubon Society, making for only of four to be awarded this honor in the State of Idaho. The course has also been voted as Best of Treasure Valley by Boise golfers for the last five consecutive years, offering an unparalleled experience for avid of beginners alike.
